The almost finished product. Still a little brown at the ends and will need one more cut to take it off, but other than that, I'm digging it.

It's been funny to hear people's reactions. Most have been supportive, one person I know is beginning to consider doing the same. But oh, boy, some people have no couth!

"You're going to look 20 years older you know."

"Gray ain't the way."

And my favorite, in response to my answer that Jason loves me, not my hair: "So he says."

I think it looks great. Like the bleached blond who finally gives up the peroxide, the natural color is more flattering to natural skin tones.

I like it! Good for you for saving yourself from the toxicity of the chemicals on the area that contains, you know, your brain.

Screw the naysayers!
Are you happy with it? That is all that matters.
I think it is cute.

My hubby started going gray at 17, I don't see what all the fuss is about.
Those grays are badges of honor. You earned every one, didn't you?

Don't worry about other peoples opinions, they are just jealous!

Thanks. I like it better than I thought I would. I wasn't really sure how I'd feel once I saw it. I've been going gray since I was in my early 20's and at least this gray since my 30's. Frankly, I'm just sick of coloring it. The expense, the mess, the trying to keep up with the roots.

It was funny today though, to see my vet. He did a little double take and I could see the questions running through his head, but like a well brought up young man, he said nothing.

I love it!
I consider gray hair to be a badge of wisdom and honor. Peg hit the nail on the head (rim shot!)
