If you live in the First Congressional District and are opposed to off shore oil drilling in South Carolina, do as I did and email our so-called "representative" and remind him that he represents we, the people and not them, the oil companies who line his pockets.

Pam - Yippee! The cynic in me thinks it does no good, but I do so feel better for at least knowing that my voice has been heard - probably by some intern.

Uncle Z - grrrrr...the SC triple crown of dipsticks. And I'm hoping a lot of 10K donators live on Sullivans and IOP and Kiawah and Seabrook and don't want their million dollar retirement homes to decrease in value because of black tarry goo from offshore oil rigs.

Uncle Z - good catch! we found the video on the CBS Sunday Morning website. Although I strongly believe my blog was chose for it's goofy name rather than its content (which cn be argued is just as goofy), it was a kick to see it pop up there.
