I have hope that I may actually see a penny or two of my Social Security withholdings when (and if) I am allowed to retire.
Surely, we are in the middle of another baby boom. Surely, these babies will be working adults by the time I am able (allowed) to retire.
But enough thinking. Random Thor picture day:
Thor loves to help. Here he helps me decorate for Jason's birthday party last spring:

I was reading some quotations and thought of you when I saw this one:
"Manuscript: something submitted in haste and returned at leisure."
- Oliver Herford (1863-1935)
I admit, I am NOT a cat person. But I just love your pics of Thor. He's such a beautiful cat. My oldest wants a cat, but sadly is allergic to them.
Between Heather and me (6 kids total so far) our babies should be working by the time you're allowed to retire. I don't mind my kids working to help others. I expect it of them.
Heather - oh so true. The agent wrote me the nicest rejection note I've ever received! On to the next.
Sunnie - thanks. I dote on them way too much, but my son is grown and gone and until I get grandkids (shudder!!) in about 10 years (according to him), I spoil the cats.
And thanks for the kids. I look at my SSI deductions and could just cry, knowing Social Security will be dead before I retire and I'll never see a penny of that money back.
