Huh?

So, Grover Norquist, the non elected "random person" was giving an interview in which he said, (paraphrasing): The Republican members of the Super Committee assured me that there would be no tax increase.

And the interviewer just IGNORED that statement.

I want to know:

1. Why are our elected representatives having to go to the man to whom they have sworn an oath (after swearing their oath to office) and having to tell him that they will do things his way?

2. Why did the reporter not jump all over that like white on rice?

3. Why does no one care?

Loki sez: Because there is no sex scandal, Americans only pay attention if there is illicit sex involved. It's too hard to write our representatives and tell them we are mad.
Thor sez: zzzzzz

I am sick and tired of elected officials telling us what they will do while refusing to say how they will do it!!!

And furthermore......why do elected officials have to travel all over the country to explain their "plans" at our expense and THEN only invite people who agree with them to these private events.......put the info online-in the newspaper-0n TV ....... Quit wasting my money!!!

Your money (and mine) is a drop in the bucket next to the kind of bank that is funding Grover. He won't reveal who his donors are, of course, but I think we could make an educated guess.
