Oh, Baby, Baby

Yesterday, saw the (another?) deer with two fawns ambling through the marsh into the neighbors yard.

This morning, Ms. Rockyette Raccoon was spotted showing her four babies where to come for free food.

Baby squirrels, baby blue jays and mockingbirds and sparrows are all out getting acquainted with the feeders of my yard.

Thor sez: I wanna play with the raccoon babies!

There is something very calming about watching wildlife...it is a great distraction from the stresses of everyday life....unless of course it is a hawk tearing into a squirrel...
You are blessed to see these wonderful animals...and thanks for sharing the stories and photos with us. Pam, South Bend

I try to enjoy it when I happen to catch them out there. I'm beginning to worry that my oak tree is now imprinted on the DNA of too many wild creatures.

How is your husband doing?

We go to the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis tomorrow (about a 3 hour drive) to meet with the surgeon for the first time. I'm praying that they give us an actual app't for the surgery before we leave there....the waiting is just about doing us in.
If they can't do it soon he is considering waiting until Nov 16th.
(That is CRAZZZZZY as far as I'm concerned.)Because of work related issues and his son (my step son) is getting married at the end of Oct.
Thanks so much for remembering...I'll let you know how it goes .
God Bless, Pam
